i was going to put "death" as a title but i accidentally put "seath" instead

So I want to submit a story to Machine of Death, Machine of Death being a collection of short stories based on the world envisioned in this Dinosaur Comic. But I don't really know what I want it to be about. I figure my main character will be an engineer who works on the Machines. Her Death is "RAPE," so she's especially wary about close relationships, if not paranoid in general. And the story opens with her on a date.

All I have from there is that I want the story to involve the Machine somehow, and that a good ironic death for her is to be scalded to death by hot canola oil. So any clever suggestions would be welcome.
